2022 S Spree Event CarOrders Are Now CLOSED

Spree Car UpdateAs of April 1,  2022

American Models has begun production on our Spree cars. Paint samples have been approved and a pre-production sample is due very soon. We’re hoping to receive the shipment of cars in Pittsburgh by the end of April.  Our shipping will begin as soon as possible after that. The balance of the cars will then be available for pickup at the Spree.

The PSG Spree Car celebrates two great Pittsburgh companies:

The Montour Railroad and The Aluminum Company of America.

The car will be Montour Railroad #14000, a unique aluminum triple hopper built by ACF for ALCOA in 1946. This car had a productive 30-year career on the Montour and was eventually bought back by ALCOA.

Price is $52.00 plus $10.00 shipping per car.  There is no shipping charge if the car will be picked up at the Spree. American Models will produce the car – available with either hi-rail wheels and couplers or NASG RP25 wheels.
