2026 Spring S Spree Event Car

This Year’s Spree Car celebrates the

Pittsburgh & West Virginia Railway.

The flat car will be lettered for the Pittsburgh & West Virginia Railway with two prototype numbers. Two optional loads (crank and rebar) will be available – to be ordered ONLY with a car, at $30.00 each.

Note: Cars produced will be divided among the two prototype numbers. If one car is ordered, the number will be chosen by the PSG. If two cars are ordered, different numbers will be supplied. Otherwise, cars ordered by a person will be divided among the two numbers.

The crank load is 3-D printed and was created from prototype drawings. The rebar wire load is hand-made of wire with wood bracing – some wood is supplied to support the wire on the car deck. The loads will NOT be attached to the cars – that is left up to the modeler. (Likely options could be gluing or temporary mounting with double-sided tape.)

Price per car is $55.00

Plus $12.00 estimated shipping.

(No shipping charge if the car is picked up at the Spree.)

American Models will produce the car—available with Hi-rail wheels and couplers or NASG RP25 wheels and AM scale couplers. The scale couplers may be replaced with Kadee couplers, if desired.

The loads will be produced by Cohn’s Custom Flyer Parts and Accessories.
